JACQUELINE SNELLING IS FINALIST FOR GODDARD COLLEGE PRESIDENCY
PLAINFIELD -- Jacqueline Snelling, the daughter of Rep. and Mrs. Snelling of Shelburne, is one of four finalists for the presidency of Goddard College, college
officials said Monday.
Miss Snelling is an assistant to the chancellor of the New York City school system.
The other three finalists are:
George Hein, director of Open Education, Education Development Center, Newton,
Mass.; Richard Graham, executive director for the Moral Development Center, Harvard
University; and Jack Linquist, director of Strategies for Change and Knowledge
Utilization, Saratoga, N.Y.
They were selected from more than 200 resumes submitted to the college,
according to Stephen Halliwell, a Goddard faculty member of the college's
presidential search committee.
Fifteen candidates were interviewed at various locations, including
Plainfield, Burlington and New York City, Halliwell said.
Liondquist and Miss Snelling will visit the Goddard campus in Plainfield
this week for further interviews.
