I noticed a few things this week. The first thing I noticed this week was the snow. The snow wasn't anything new and exciting from the rest of the blur of a week. I just noticed it was coming down again and covering up all the mud.
The second thing I noticed this week was the darkness. All over campus it was dark and gloomy.
I enjoy going for walks. Like most people on the Greatwood Campus I walk everywhere. And everywhere I go I notice empty rooms.
At the Elliot Pratt Center, Jim Jatkevicius old office is empty. Have you noticed how dark it is in the Records Office? Even though Sue Hamady now occupies the office, it is still empty of Emily Tanner. As you leave the office you'll also notice, Sarah Thompson's desk is empty.
At the Martin Manor you'll notice on the first floor room in between the oak room and the lounge. That used to be Shelley Smith's old office. And when you go upstairs next Kiko Nobusawa's office, there's a locked room at the end of the hallway. That Steve Shapiro's old office.
Over in the studies building, there's an office on the bottom floor. Someone may go in and out of it but it's Earl Thompson's empty old office. Upstairs the Travel through Academic Growth office is empty. Barbara Carnes and Jim Galloway used to be in there. If you continue and go upstairs at the head of the stairs is Jan Donnelly's office. It's nice to see her in there. It used to be Alex Forbes old office. From there you can see the other end of the hallway.
The third thing I noticed this week hit me in the face like a ton of bricks. "Meeting tonight 10 PM! Peter Burns resigned!" They didn't say more and I didn't have to ask.
Finally the snow's melting and you can see the mud again.
